The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Newark Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) and the visiting Beloved Community Charter Owls (Jersey City, NJ), observed Newark Central's basketball team knock off Beloved Community Charter by a score of 52-44.

The Blue Devils (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion P. Thomas (Newark, NJ). The come into the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Marion P. Thomas prevailed over University (Newark, NJ), 65-51, in a non-league challenge.
