In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Jefferson Area Falcons basketball team scored a good 61-51 triumph over the Lakeview Bulldogs.

The Falcons (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Perry (Perry, OH). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Perry topped North (Eastlake, OH), 79-42, in a non-league contest.
