Oklahoma High School Basketball - Woodward fells Kingfisher
January 25, 2025: Kingfisher, OK 73750 The Woodward Boomers basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Kingfisher Yellowjackets to 56 in the Boomers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Boomers now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Alva for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Woodward will confront a Goldbugs team coming off a 50-39 league loss to Blackwell (Blackwell, OK). The Goldbugs record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Kingfisher falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Cache (Cache, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 6-13. Cache won 54-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Casady (Oklahoma City, OK)
