In Saturday's league test, the Madison Marlins (Houston, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), by a score of 101-65.

Next, the Marlins clash with the Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Madison will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 18-7 record after their 58-50 league win over Austin (Houston, TX).
