Ohio High School Basketball - Northeastern defeats National Trail
January 25, 2025: New Paris, OH 45347 The Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH) basketball were winner over the host National Trail Blazers (New Paris, OH), 57-47 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Jets now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Mechanicsburg for a Ohio Heritage bout on Friday, January 31. Northeastern will play a Indians team coming off a 43-32 league loss to Madison Plains (London, OH). The Indians record now stands at 6-10.
With the loss, National Trail falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Ansonia (Ansonia, OH) to play the Tigers in a Western Ohio bout on Friday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-16. Ansonia lost 53-39 in their recent non-league bout against Houston (Houston, OH)
