California High School Basketball - Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) bested by Saugus
January 25, 2025: Saugus, CA 91350 Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), 61-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Saugus advances its record to 16-9 on the year. The Centurions host Hart (Newhall, CA) to face the Hawks in a Foothill match on Tuesday, January 28. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 9-15. Hart lost 57-39 in their recent league match against Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA)
The Panthers now own a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Capistrano Valley Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) will face a Eagles squad coming off a 80-25 league win over Avalon (Avalon, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 20-4.
