Michigan High School Ice Hockey - St. Ignatius gets by University of Detroit Jesuit
January 25, 2025: Detroit, MI 48221 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) and the host University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs (Detroit, MI), witnessed St. Ignatius's ice hockey team defeat University of Detroit Jesuit by a final score of 4-2.
The Wildcats (21-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Brother Rice got by Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI), 9-1, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cubs battle the Brother Rice Warriors (Bloomfield Hills, MI) in a Catholic A challenge, on Friday, February 7. University of Detroit Jesuit will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record.
