In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Great Mills Hornets basketball team scored a good 63-47 triumph over the McDonough Rams.

In their next game, the Hornets meet the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Friday, January 28. Great Mills will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 5-5 record after their 72-52 league loss to Westlake (Waldorf, MD).
