Minnesota High School Basketball - Belle Plaine tops St. Peter
January 26, 2023: Belle Plaine, MN 56011 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN) and the visiting St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN), saw Belle Plaine's basketball squad knock off St. Peter by a tally of 88-79.
With the victory, Belle Plaine improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Waseca (Waseca, MN) to play the Bluejays in a AA Section 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 14-3.
Next up, the Saints play the Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers (Fargo, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. St. Peter will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Grovers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 61-58 league loss to Central Cass (Casselton, ND).
