Minnesota High School Basketball - New Ulm ripped by Belle Plaine
February 17, 2023: New Ulm, MN 56073 The Belle Plaine Tigers basketball team scored 81 points and held the host New Ulm Eagles to 60 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] for a AA Section 2 contest on Tuesday, February 21. Belle Plaine will battle a Titans team coming off a 73-57 non-league loss to Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN). The Titans record now stands at 10-14.
The Eagles (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Komets enter the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Kasson-Mantorville was routed by Goodhue (Goodhue, MN), 68-45, in a non-league contest.
