January 31, 2023: Montgomery, MN The Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans basketball team (Montgomery, MN), was overwhelmed 89-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN)
The Eagles now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Worthington for a AAA Section 2 battle on Thursday, February 2. New Ulm will confront a Trojans team coming off a 90-57 non-league win over Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 12-2.
The Titans (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Medford (Medford, MN). The Tigers come into the AA Section 2 battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Medford was overwhelmed by Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN), 82-62, in a league battle.
