February 16, 2023: Belle Plaine, MN 56011 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN) and the visiting Central Raiders (Norwood-Young America, MN), saw Belle Plaine's basketball squad overcome Central by a tally of 66-58.
With the victory, Belle Plaine improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to New Ulm (New Ulm, MN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. New Ulm won 73-67 in their recent league challenge against Marshall (Marshall, MN)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers (Glencoe, MN) in a AA Section 2 challenge, on Saturday, February 18. Central will attempt to improve on its 19-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 76-59 non-league win over New London-Spicer (New London, MN).
