Minnesota High School Basketball - Waseca knocked off by New Ulm
January 6, 2023: New Ulm, MN 56073 The New Ulm Eagles basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Waseca Bluejays to 71 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delano for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. New Ulm will meet a Tigers team coming off a 90-83 non-league win over Richfield (Richfield, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-3.
The Bluejays (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Jackson County Central was outscored by Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 103-99, in a league contest.
