Minnesota High School Basketball - New Ulm nips Marshall
February 16, 2023: New Ulm, MN 56073 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN) and the visiting Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN), saw New Ulm's basketball squad hold off Marshall by a tally of 73-67.
With the victory, New Ulm improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 17-6. Belle Plaine won 66-58 in their recent league challenge against Central (Norwood-Young America, MN)
Next up, the Tigers play the Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 9-16 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 19-5 record after their 87-48 league win over Sibley East (Arlington, MN).
