January 26, 2023: Hagerstown, MD 21742 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD) and the host North Hagerstown Hubs (Hagerstown, MD), saw Governor Thomas Johnson's basketball squad hold off North Hagerstown by a tally of 79-75.
With the victory, Governor Thomas Johnson improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Linganore (Frederick, MD) to confront the Lancers in a CMC challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Linganore won 67-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Catoctin (Thurmont, MD)
Next up, the Hubs confront the Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD) in a CMC challenge, on Friday, January 27. North Hagerstown will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 59-53 league loss to Williamsport (Williamsport, MD).
