The Louisburg Warriors (Louisburg, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), 45-41 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Warriors (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC). The Firebirds go into the 2A/3A Conference 17 test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Southern Nash got by Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 68-56, in a league test.
