January 26, 2023: Wayne, NJ 07470 In Thursday's non-league outing, the DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Eastern Christian Eagles (North Haledon, NJ), by a margin of 44-18.
The Spartans (5-11) will now prepare for their outing against Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Ghosts go into the non-league outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Eastside was trounced by Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ), 73-42, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Pompton Lakes for a Freelance outing on Monday, January 30. Eastern Christian will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 33-27 league win over Hawthorne (Hawthorne, NJ). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-7.
