February 4, 2023: Wanaque, NJ 07465 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ) and the visiting DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ), saw Lakeland Regional's basketball squad wallop DePaul Catholic by a count of 56-29.
With the victory, Lakeland Regional upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 17-2. Wayne Hills won 45-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Westwood (Washington Township, NJ)
Next up, the Spartans play the Academy of the Holy Angels Angels (Demarest, NJ) in a Big North - United challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. DePaul Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Angels come into the challenge with a 11-11 record after their 53-38 league loss to Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ).
