In Thursday's league match, the visiting Lakeland Regional Lancers basketball team scored a good 50-40 triumph over the West Milford Highlanders.

In their next game, the Lancers meet the Wayne Hills Patriots (Wayne, NJ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 7. Lakeland Regional will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 16-2 record after their 42-38 non-league win over Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ).
