The Twin Cedars Sabers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Melcher-Dallas Saints to 51 in the Sabers league triumph on Thursday.

The Sabers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ankeny Christian Academy for a Bluegrass contest on Saturday, January 28. Twin Cedars will battle a team coming off a 54-26 league win over Diagonal (Diagonal, IA). The record now stands at 13-2.

The Saints (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Diagonal (Diagonal, IA). The Maroons enter the Bluegrass contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Diagonal was nudged by Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA), 54-26, in a league contest.
