Connecticut High School Basketball - Classical Magnet holds off Academy of Aerospace and Engineering
January 26, 2024: Windsor, CT 06106 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT) and the host Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets (Windsor, CT), saw Classical Magnet's basketball squad hold off Academy of Aerospace and Engineering by a tally of 68-63.
With the victory, Classical Magnet improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Parish Hill (Chaplin, CT) to confront the Pirates in a Capitol Region challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Jets confront the University Hawks (Hartford, CT) in a Capitol Region challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 67-64 league loss to CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering] (Enfield, CT).
