Connecticut High School Basketball - Academy of Aerospace and Engineering knocked off by Weaver

The Weaver Beavers basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets to 57 in the Beavers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Beavers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conard for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Weaver will battle a Red Wolves team coming off a 51-48 league win over Farmington (Farmington, CT). The Red Wolves record now stands at 3-4.

The Jets (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Capital Prep (Hartford, CT). The Trailblazers enter the Capitol Region contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Capital Prep ran past Libertas Academy Charter (Springfield, MA), 79-66, in a non-league contest.
