January 26, 2024: Harned, KY 40144 Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), 65-55 in a league bout.
With the win, Breckinridge County upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Fighting Tigers host Nelson County (Bardstown, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Nelson County lost 55-50 in their recent league bout against Bardstown (Bardstown, KY)
Next up, the Green Waves play the North Hardin Trojans (Radcliff, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Meade County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 91-44 league win over John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY).
