Maryland High School Basketball - Calvert Hall nips Glenelg Country

January 26, 2024: Ellicott City, MD 21042

Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Glenelg Country Dragons (Ellicott City, MD), 57-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Calvert Hall upgrades its record to 10-14 on the season. The Cardinals host Goretti (Hagerstown, MD) to play the Gael in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 28. The Gael go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Goretti won 66-56 in their recent non-league bout against New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD)

Next up, the Dragons play the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Glenelg Country will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record.
