Maryland High School Basketball - Calvert Hall tops Pallotti
January 3, 2024: Laurel, MD 20707 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD) and the host Pallotti Panthers (Laurel, MD), saw Calvert Hall's basketball squad knock off Pallotti by a tally of 70-56.
With the victory, Calvert Hall improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD) to play the Panthers in a MIAA A - Red challenge on Friday, January 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. St. Frances Academy lost 80-66 in their recent league challenge against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD)
Next up, the Panthers play the Friendship Tech Prep Academy Titans (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Pallotti will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 83-23 league win over KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC).
