Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Octorara Area nips Donegal
January 26, 2024: Atglen, PA 19310 Octorara Area Braves (Atglen, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Donegal Indians (Mt. Joy, PA), 58-57 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Octorara Area upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Cocalico (Denver, PA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Cocalico lost 59-36 in their recent league bout against Warwick (Lititz, PA)
Next up, the Indians play the Northern Lebanon Vikings (Fredericksburg, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 bout, on Monday, January 29. Donegal will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 71-40 league loss to Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA).
