The Liberty Union Lions basketball team (Baltimore, OH), was nudged 56-55 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Hamilton Township Rangers (Columbus, OH)

The Rangers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Circleville for a Mid-State - Buckeye battle on Tuesday, January 30. Hamilton Township will battle a Tigers team coming off a 30-28 league loss to Logan Elm (Circleville, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 9-7.

The Lions (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Bulldogs come into the Mid-State - Buckeye battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Bloom-Carroll was nudged by Teays Valley (Ashville, OH), 62-61, in a league battle.
