Maryland High School Basketball - St. Frances Academy tops John Carroll
January 26, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21202 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), saw St. Frances Academy's basketball squad knock off John Carroll by a tally of 86-74.
With the victory, St. Frances Academy improves its record to 19-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Glenelg Country (Ellicott City, MD) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Glenelg Country lost 57-53 in their recent league challenge against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD)
Next up, the Patriots play the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a MIAA A - Black challenge, on Monday, January 29. John Carroll will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 55-44 league loss to Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD).
