Ohio High School Basketball - Washington crushes McClain

Washington Blue Lions (Washington Courthouse, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host McClain Tigers (Greenfield, OH), 55-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Washington upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Blue Lions host Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 7-8. Zane Trace won 53-49 in their recent league bout against Piketon (Piketon, OH)

Next up, the Tigers play the Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. McClain will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Shermans come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 50-42 league win over Adena (Frankfort, OH).
