The Valor Preparatory Academy Owls basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Queen's Grant Stallions to 67 in the Owls league triumph on Friday.

The Owls now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont Community Charter for a 1A Metro 8 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Valor Preparatory Academy will meet a Patriots team coming off a 83-59 league win over Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 13-4.
