Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND), 62-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Stanley upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Blue Jays host Nedrose (Minot, ND) to play the Cardinals in a A Region 3 bout on Monday, January 29. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 2-12. Nedrose lost 80-52 in their recent league bout against Rugby (Rugby, ND)

Next up, the Braves play the Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Turtle Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 79-53 league win over Watford City (Watford City, ND).
