February 16, 2024: Belcourt, ND 58316 The New Town Eagles basketball team (New Town, ND), was overwhelmed 75-43 in Friday's league battle with the host Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND)
The Braves now possess a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunseith for a A Region 3 battle on Friday, February 23. Turtle Mountain will confront a Dragons team coming off a 77-37 league loss to Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND). The Dragons record now stands at 3-20.
The Eagles (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Nedrose (Minot, ND). The Cardinals come into the A Region 3 battle with a 4-16 record. In their last battle, Nedrose trounced South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND), 56-48, in a league battle.
