The Branson Bulls (Ross, CA) basketball knocked off the host Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), 50-39 in Friday's league test.

The Bulls (9-13) will now prepare for their test against Redwood (Larkspur, CA). The Giants go into the non-league test with a 17-7 record. In their last test, Redwood notched a victory over Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA), 49-35, in a league test.

The Hornets now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Marin Catholic for a Marin County test on Tuesday, January 30. Novato will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 71-34 non-league loss to Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-10.
