The Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL), 52-29 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (3-14) will now prepare for their test against Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL). The Spartans go into the Central State Eight test with a 9-16 record.

The Pioneers now own a 7-19 record. They play next when they host Taylorville for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Normal University will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 72-32 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 18-6.
