In Wednesday's league outing, the Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL), by a margin of 68-28.

The Spartans (10-17) will now prepare for their outing against Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Titans go into the Central State Eight outing with a 20-6 record. In their last outing, Glenwood smashed Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL), 47-27, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to Lanphier for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1. Decatur Eisenhower will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 49-43 league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Lions record now stands at 4-18.
