The Northern Patriots basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting La Plata Warriors to 17 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westlake for a Southern Maryland contest on Wednesday, January 31. Northern will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 42-38 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-6.

The Warriors (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Rams enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, McDonough was routed by Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD), 47-32, in a league contest.
