In Friday's league match, the visiting La Plata Warriors basketball team scored a tight 31-28 triumph over the Westlake Wolverines.

In their next game, the Warriors meet the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Monday, February 12. La Plata will attempt to move on its 7-13 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 8-12 record after their 44-20 league win over Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD).
