In Friday's non-league outing, the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC), by a count of 46-26.

The Pioneers (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 7-2 record.
