Colorado High School Basketball - Battle Mountain edges Eagle Valley
The Battle Mountain Huskies (Minturn, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO), 66-61 in Tuesday's league test.
The Huskies (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Moffat County (Craig, CO). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Western Slope test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Moffat County was tipped by Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO), 44-32, in a league test.
The Devils now own a 2-14 record. They take the field next when they host Steamboat Springs for a 4A Western Slope test on Friday, January 30. Eagle Valley will clash with a Sailors squad coming off a 44-32 league win over Moffat County (Craig, CO). The Sailors record now stands at 9-5.
