Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Commerce Red Raiders (Springfield, MA) and the visiting Sci-Tech CyberCats (Springfield, MA), saw Commerce's basketball squad overcome Sci-Tech by a tally of 57-47.

With the victory, Commerce improves its record to 3-10 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Putnam Vo-Tech (Springfield, MA) to battle the Beavers in a Valley contest on Tuesday, January 31. The Beavers come into the contest with a record of 5-7. Putnam Vo-Tech lost 67-47 in their recent non-league contest against New Mission (Boston, MA)

The CyberCats (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Holyoke (Holyoke, MA). The Knights come into the Valley contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Holyoke prevailed over Pope Francis (Chicopee, MA), 75-51, in a league contest.
