The Western Branch Bruins basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies to 54 in the Bruins league victory on Thursday.

The Bruins now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Great Bridge for a Southeastern contest on Friday, January 28. Western Branch will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 69-31 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.
