The Ansonia Tigers basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Franklin Monroe Jets to 32 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-County North for a Western Ohio contest on Friday, February 3.

The Jets (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, OH). The Green Wave enter the non-league contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Greenville was routed by Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH), 65-30, in a league contest.
