Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Twin Valley South Panthers (West Alexandria, OH), 70-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Ansonia upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Fort Recovery won 50-48 in their recent league bout against Versailles (Versailles, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Twin Valley South will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 61-32 league win over Greenon (Springfield, OH).
