Twin Valley South Panthers (West Alexandria, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host National Trail Blazers (New Paris, OH), 49-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Twin Valley South upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH) to play the Arrows in a Western Ohio bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Arrows come into the bout with a record of 11-1. Preble Shawnee won 51-35 in their recent non-league bout against Carlisle (Carlisle, OH)

Next up, the Blazers play the Tri-Village Patriots (New Madison, OH) in a Western Ohio bout, on Tuesday, January 10. National Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 56-42 league win over Dixie (New Lebanon, OH).
