January 27, 2023: Arlington, MA 02476 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA) and the visiting Woburn Memorial Tanners (Woburn, MA), saw Arlington's basketball squad overcome Woburn Memorial by a tally of 66-49.
With the victory, Arlington improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Spy Ponders host Lexington (Lexington, MA) to play the Minutemen in a Middlesex challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Lexington lost 70-65 in their recent league challenge against Belmont (Belmont, MA)
Next up, the Tanners play the Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) in a Middlesex challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Woburn Memorial will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 51-46 league loss to Winchester (Winchester, MA).
