January 6, 2023: Arlington, MA 02476 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA) and the visiting Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA), saw Arlington's basketball squad overcome Winchester by a tally of 48-40.
With the victory, Arlington improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Spy Ponders host Burlington (Burlington, MA) to play the Red Devils in a Middlesex challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Burlington won 60-48 in their recent league challenge against Watertown (Watertown, MA)
Next up, the Red & Black play the Melrose Red Raiders (Melrose, MA) in a Middlesex challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Winchester will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 38-34 non-league loss to Malden (Malden, MA).
