January 27, 2023: Bloomfield, CT 06002 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bloomfield Warhawks (Bloomfield, CT) and the visiting New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT), saw Bloomfield's basketball squad overcome New Britain by a tally of 71-62.
With the victory, Bloomfield improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to East Hartford (East Hartford, CT) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. East Hartford lost 61-55 in their recent non-league challenge against RHAM (Hebron, CT)
Next up, the Golden Hurricanes confront the Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. New Britain will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Nor'easters come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 68-53 non-league win over East Lyme (East Lyme, CT).
