The McConnellsburg Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Fannett Metal to 41 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everett for a Inter County - South contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Shalom Christian Academy (Chambersburg, PA). The Flames enter the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Shalom Christian Academy was defeated by Heritage Academy (Hagerstown, MD), 84-78, in a league contest.
