The McConnellsburg Spartans basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs to 46 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tussey Mountain for a Inter County - South contest on Wednesday, December 14. McConnellsburg will battle a Titans team coming off a 46-21 league loss to Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg, PA). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.

The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Branch (Morrisdale, PA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, West Branch triumphed over Mount Union (Mount Union, PA), 67-54, in a league contest.
