St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders (Buffalo, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Francis Red Raiders (Hamburg, NY), 63-49 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Marauders travel to Canisius (Buffalo, NY) to play the Crusaders in a Monsignor Martin bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Canisius won 81-57 in their recent league bout against Nichols (Buffalo, NY)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the The Park School of Buffalo Pioneers (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin bout, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 70-41 non-league loss to Jamestown (Jamestown, NY).
